Best Surgery Response Ever. Period.

My high school English teacher wound up coming to the hospital where I work for her laproscopic colon resection. Once we got past that initial ‘Hey, we know each other!’ awkwardness, everything went fine – he has a great attitude and tries to laugh about everything anyway.

When he was in recovery, he made sure to get my attention and say,”Hey, Tina, do you know what I am now?”

“What’s that, Mr. M?”

“A semi-colon!”
